Gorillakilla Travel Hacks 101, Grooming Tools & TSA Regulations!

We receive questions from our customers on a regular basis concerning our products, Lifetime Guarantee, Product Materials etc. however, one of the most frequently asked questions is are able to “carry on” our products onto a plane or simple put, are they TSA approved? The short answer is “Yes.” However, that’s not the whole answer. So, we thought it would be helpful to not only post the answer, but to post the actual rule copied directly from TSA website (see in red text below). We here at Gorillakilla.com have never encountered a problem with TSA not allowing our products on board, however the final decision always rests at the sole discretion of the TSA officer. To be safe, it’s always best to pack grooming products in checked bags. If you are a carry on kind of traveler, you are taking a very small risk of the items getting past a TSA checkpoint, but a risk nonetheless.

 Checked Bags:

“Yes”
(If packed in carry-on, they must be less than 4 inches from the pivot point. Any sharp objects in checked bags should be sheathed or securely wrapped to prevent injury to baggage handlers and inspectors.)

The final decision rests with the TSA officer on whether an item is allowed through the checkpoint.
