GorillaKilla Dating Hacks 101 for Men, I Sheet You Not!

A few weeks ago a customer called suggesting a topic for our weekly post. She said, instead of preaching about the perils of dating and unkempt back hair, nose hair, fingernails etc., that we address a universal problem among seemingly all single men: changing their bed sheets. In fact, I think last week’s post titled “If It Were Not for Women/Dating, Would Men Shower?” serves as a perfect lead-in.

We already know that going unchecked, single men can and will live in complete filth. Sometimes knowingly, other times they settle into an ignorance-is-bliss-like state.

The Dirty Facts: research shows single men between the ages of 18 and 55 change their bed sheets just four times a year or once every 90 days! Also, single men typically own only one set of bed sheets. In comparison, women own three sets of sheets and change them every two weeks.

Why should you care? Well, outside of practicing good, basic hygiene (should be reason enough), women care. That’s right, it’s that “cleanliness is next to godliness” thing again and we believe your investments in changing the bed sheets more frequently (every two weeks) will return in dividends.

Imagine this: you end a date going back to your place. The mood is set from a great date and things start heating up. You move from your living room to the bedroom and, of course, onto your bed. Now, is this the time you want your bed to act as a repellent or a magnet? Something she can’t wait to slip into or something she wants to slink away from?

Making your bed as inviting as possible can only help your cause when it comes to women and it aligns perfectly with all of your other areas of self-improvement and men’s grooming.
